Its Halloween week! Have you seen a ghost yet? Have you carved your pumpkin yet? If not, drop by the brewery to claim one for free! We have a few extras kicking around from our event this week and we would love for them to find a good home. If you have reserved your ticket, don’t worry, you are guaranteed a pumpkin, everything else is first come first served. Hopefully we get to see you carve up something spooky!
Our Own Devices are playing a free show tomorrow night, it is all ages and costumes are encouraged! They have 15 new songs that are all Halloween themed and are excited to show you what they can do. Come and check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
On Saturday we have our DJ ready to set the mood for our costume contest! The evening starts at 8 and goes late! There are prizes for the best costume, best couples’ costumes and worst costume!
On Monday, Halloween day, we have our adult trick or treating board! You may remember this from a couple of years ago (the before times), we have a board of envelopes filled with prizes, you get to pick one and hope its great! The grand prize is a $50 gift card to the brewery! In addition, we will have a bucket filled with a 4 pack and candy that you can share or keep all to yourself!
Millarville Christmas market is coming up around the corner. It runs 8 total days from Thursday to Sunday, from the 3rd to the 6th and again from the 10th to the 13th. We will be there in our usual booth, so come say hi! Kevin might have a little surprise for you if you mention this email/blog. We have Connor Christmas, a comedian originally from High River, playing a show here on November 12th. it will be a great night of comedy and tickets are available here:
Ever had beer straight from a cask? Well on Wednesday November 9th we will be tapping our very first cask. It is our well loved English Bitter which should be very nicely complemented by the cask. We are excited to try it out and compare it to the same beer on the draught lines.
Lastly, we will be open early for every game that Canada is playing during the World Cup. We don’t have full details yet, but watch this space for more information.
